Black Moses

This film entails an early civil rights leader from Jamaica with unorthodox views, Marcus Garvey. Starting with humble beginnings in Jamaica, Marcus Garvey rose from poverty and traveled to America in hopes of establishing himself as a prominent figure in civil rights. He gained attention, both negative and positive from other civil rights leaders of the time, such as W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington.
